The total redesign of Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester centers on a large walk through nteractive fountain court and new pavilion building by Tadao Ando. FoRM Associates was an integral part of the design team with a responsibility for lighting.

The principal aim was to explore how lighting can decisively contribute to a welcoming and stimulating night-time public realm and turn Piccadilly Gardens into a 24 hour space in a 24 hour city.
